This is a great restaurant close to the Hoxton Hotel that consistently challenges my concept of what I like to eat. Dishes that I never thought I would want to order seem irresistible at this great little cafe.

This is one of those spots that you can hang out in all day. Choose from a menu of healthy food, smoothies, and teas at any meal while you enjoy big sofas, Internet, and great—but unpretentious—décor. The place is a nice break from the hyper-trendy vibe of the Shoreditch area. For a person who doesn't work out of a traditional office, finding a place like this feels like a home away from home.

25 Davies St
Despite the "scene-y-ness" of this London hotspot, it is one of the few spots in the world at which I freely and carelessly carbo-load. I have eaten at some of the best Italian restaurants in Italy and the rest of the world, but for some reason this spot just nails every pasta dish I order. If you don’t believe me just ask my London tailor—he faces the unfortunate consequences of my pasta binges.

1 Club Row
Located in Shoreditch, this restaurant feels like the parlor of a mad taxidermist. Rarely do places that are this highly designed also show such skill on the plate, but this spot marries the best of both worlds. Stop in when your eyes are as hungry as your stomach.
